About Weston Suggs
After years as a youth group leader and special education teacher, Weston Suggs finally gave up on being a good person and began a career in stand-up. He finished as the runner-up in 2024’s “North Carolina’s Funniest Person” contest and was subsequently featured on Helium Comedy’s “Best of Funniest 2024” album that can be heard on streaming platforms everywhere.
Weston is known as the irreverent sketch comedian “Shrimp King” where his videos have amassed over 15 million views on Instagram. He performs in comedy clubs across the Southeast and has worked with national touring acts such as Pauly Shore, Janeane Garofalo, and Michael Palascak. Capable of both clean and dirty sets, he has been featured on Rhizome Comedy Recordings and The North Carolina Comedy Festival, all while being a regular at Goodnight’s Comedy Club.
Weston will make his silver screen debut in the upcoming film “Clementine Rodeo,” dir. Jacob Joyner.
